Utoy is an upcoming ABS-CBN fantasy drama series featuring Makisig Morales and Philippines' King of Comedy, Dolphy.[1] The series is inspired by the children's tale Pinocchio.[2]

The production of the series started early 2008. The series also contains animation. Dolphy said in an interview that he had a hard time working on scenes with animation.[3] But when Dolphy confirm the news the whole show was canceled according to PEP website when he moved to TV5. Until now the show is now on shelve.[4]
Based on Philippines Pinocchio Version. The story about a defective toy named Utoy (Makisig Morales) made by toymaker Papa Yoyo (Dolphy), and how this creation served as a source of strength and inspiration to kind yet physically challenged Abby (Kathryn Bernardo), whose only friend has left her to live abroad. Bogart will discover the secret of the toy from garbage.
Will Bogart and Abby's friendship be enough to bring Utoy to life? Will the real world treat this toy creation fairly? Is there a space for someone like Utoy in the sometimes cruel world of humans? Can Utoy and Abby surpass the challenges that life will offer them?
